Castlekeep Eve & Castlekeep Footloose (Kidding 2/10)
This beautiful doeling presented herself as an ‘impossible’ breach. But she and Eve – with some help from up above – prevailed. What a joy and blessing.And this is doeling #2 – simply ravishing, eh? The girl’s slept in last night and were introduced to the rest of the crew in the kid yard this afternoon – it is in the 80s… Eve did herself proud.That’s doeling #2 bottom left. As We Pause Between Kidding Weeks (Next Due Dates 2/21) – The Kids At Play
Our 1st thirteen kids have all graduated to the kid’s barn and play area. They are enjoying the mid-60s temps, sunshine and each other. Kids are all from a week to 12 days old.On the move. Note the flying ears – love it!When the kids arrive fast and furiously – and you are running on empty from the pace and lack of sleep – the Mom-coded colored collars help keep everything (everyone) straight.

Faire Dale Farm Princess & Castlekeep CH Easy Sam (Kidding 2/20)
Princess was a real champ. Our second breach presentation this kidding season – ugh! Karen got this fellow’s legs pulled around for delivery, but Princess was exhausted and the kid was HUGE! Think his first colostrum feeding was 12 ounces – some appetite.

Please, no more big ‘singles’.This is one impressive guy. Princess’s buckling was born at 12 pounds! Not quite a day old here.
